Thank you to all my wonderful children that sent me Mother's Day cards. I got homemade ones from Ethan and Ashley and Landon and Myah. They were perfect and the things you wrote really touched my heart. The singing one from Megan and Joey was so Meg. Thank you dear girl. Kaila's was also perfect for her to give me,I couldn't have picked out a better one. You did a good job K.J. Tessa's was funny and also so Tessa. You always say the right things Tessa. Joslyn and James was great,but what they wrote inside made me feel both deep gratitude and love. And a little undeserving. And of course the one from Ella.....the pictures were adoable as usual. I had a great day and the gifts and cards were PERFECT. I love all of you and am so greatful to call you my children. You all make me very proud. Love mom

Wedding Anniversary 08.26.72 to 08.26.2008

We had a nice time up at tahoe at our timeshare Tahoe vacation resort on ski run blvd. We got a little bonus time for a three day weekend. Had to take the kids but it worked out fine. Kaila had to work and looked after the house. 36 wonderful years together and 9 wonderful children. Love, Mom and Dad.

Landon's Baptism Aug. 16th 2008

We appreciate all the family support for Landon's Baptism. Expecially Jacob coming to baptize his little brother. The event went very well. Mom had planned and prepared everything so well. It was a warm and beautiful day. After Landon's Baptism, he said he felt really warm inside when we were changing in the bathroom. It was really sweet. His primary teacher; Bro. Howard, gave a talk on Baptism and I gave one on the Holy Ghost. Mom said the Prayer and Ethan the closing prayer. Kaila and Ashley did the Music. Bro. Dudley was there with his family representing the Bishopric. The Wises were there too from the primary. Quinton and his Mom.

Family Vacation - July 2008

Megan joined us up at lake Tahoe this year. Tessa came up and went fishing with me one morning. The weather was beautiful and we had fun at the lake and in the pool at the Marriott Timber lodge. A week was too short but we made the most of it. We saw many movies at the theater right next door to the hotel. I got to go in the water with my snorkeling gear a bit on one day.
